Unveiling the Enchantment: Is the After Hours Event at Disney Worth It?
This podcast episode delves into the merits and considerations surrounding the after-hours events at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. We explore whether the financial investment required for these limited-entry experiences is justified by the unique access they provide to the parks. Our discussion draws upon personal experiences, reflecting on how these events create an atmosphere reminiscent of having the park to oneself, thereby enhancing the overall enjoyment. We emphasize the significance of understanding one's personal stamina and familiarity with the parks when contemplating participation, as these events are time-sensitive and may not suit all families. Through this conversation, we aim to elucidate the value proposition of such exclusive experiences in the context of contemporary Disney park visits.

Or Hollywood Studios and feel like you had the park to yourself.
Speaker A:Well, that's what we're going to talk about on this edition.
Speaker A:The after hours event at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot center and Hollywood Studios and whether or not it is worth the price and the experience.
Speaker A:How are you, Lauren?
Speaker B:I am good.
Speaker B:How are you?
Speaker A:We've done pretty much like every special ticketed thing that you can do.
Speaker A:The Christmas party, the Halloween party, etc.
Speaker A:This one was something that came about, I think about five or six years ago.
Speaker B:It did.
Speaker A:They decided, you know, you know what, let's do a special ticketed event.
Speaker A:Very limited crowd.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker A:And let's let people have a feeling of the park to themselves.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And it truly is that it's really like, I, I consider it like an extra special event.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:Because it's more of a VIP access type thing, even though it's not.
Speaker B:And it's really the same price really as what you're going to pay for a Christmas party or Halloween party ticket, but you're really paying for that limited access to the park.
Speaker A:Now there used to be a time, and I think you got to go back a long time when there dates on the calendar where you could walk down Main street with about 10 other people.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Like those were the, those were the days where Disney didn't have anything going on.
Speaker A:Everyone was in school.
Speaker A:It was probably around like September or something.
Speaker A:Whatever.
Speaker A:There were, there were times where the people knew I can go down to Disney World and I can beat the crowd.
Speaker A:And they've changed that because they started going, all right, our dead times is when we're going to have a race, so we're going to have a festival or we're going to have something else.
Speaker A: er from the park, like in the: Speaker B:Yeah, they have.
Speaker B:And you, that's, that's the number one question that I get by clients is when is the low season?
Speaker B:When is the least crowded time to go?
Speaker B:And really there is no least crowded time anymore.
Speaker B:Especially with, like you said, I mean, they have found a way to fill the parks in all the seasons and now we have, we have an increased number of homeschooled students that can go anytime.
Speaker B:Whereas back when I was growing up, there were just weren't as many families that were doing that or doing hybrid type schools and, and had more flexibility.
Speaker A:So yeah, I remember being in like 8th grade and my parents us out for my little sister and it was like her going to be her first time.
Speaker A:And he.
Speaker A:My father took us out in September, like three weeks after school started in the Northeast.
Speaker A:We started after Labor Day.
Speaker A:So right away I was telling teachers, we're going on this vacation.
Speaker A:I'm going to need my schoolwork.
Speaker A:But when we got there, my memories of that were nothing.
Speaker A:No lines.
Speaker A:No lines at all.
Speaker A:Pretty much having the park that was like, in 84, 85, amazing.
Speaker A:And those, like I said, like you said, those days are gone.
Speaker A:And sometimes you hear it of people going, oh, I went to the park today and was dead.
Speaker A:But this is very, very low crowd.
Speaker A:Yeah, this is about 3,000 people, and they're maxing out the ticket.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A:When I first heard this, I really, really wanted to do this.
Speaker A:And I got to do it a couple of years ago.
Speaker A:And this was one of those throwing money at something and not knowing what I was getting into.
Speaker B:Sure.
Speaker A:No one I knew went had done it.
Speaker A:And I even told my wife, I don't even know if this is worth it.
Speaker A:Yeah, let's just try it.
Speaker A:So we went down to Florida to do some business with the family and see our son and whatnot.
Speaker A:And we, we went on a Sunday night.
Speaker A: think pretty much consistent: Speaker A:But you can get in at 7.
Speaker A:So I made dinner reservations.
Speaker A:So one of our hours was doing dinner reservations and the other two were kind of walking around the park.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And I kid you not, at 10 o'clock, it felt like a magic wand was waved and everyone was alf.
Speaker B:That's amazing.
Speaker A:We were really blown away.
Speaker A:We thought there would still be some stragglers.
Speaker A:People, even though they didn't have the band, would still try to kind of stay in the park as long as they could.
Speaker A:Almost instantly from at 10 o'clock, the crowd was gone.
Speaker B:That's unbelievable.
Speaker A:And the great thing about what I experienced was this was at night, and I always loved Disney World at night.
Speaker A:So a couple of things about this, and we're going to talk about Epcot, we're talking about Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom, because, like you mentioned, this is the cost of a regular ticket in some time.
Speaker A:In some places it's a little higher, depending on the season.
Speaker A:So you ask the question, is it worth it if you're.
Speaker A:If it's just the park?
Speaker A:Because when you go into the Halloween party or the Christmas party, you're getting something really extra.
Speaker B:Sure.
Speaker A:So is this gonna be worth it now?
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:I tell people, I told people about my experience and I said, look, at the time, I think I paid 155 a ticket.
Speaker A:The a full day at the time was about 150 bucks.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:But I said, look, you're not gonna get 3,000 people in the park, just you and 3,000 people.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:So this is a chance to go on pretty much as many rides as you can.
Speaker B:I really think this is the perfect thing for somebody that hates crowds that is just looking to extend their park day.
Speaker B:So don't look at it as it's something that's going to give me anything extra than what I might get during the day at Magic Kingdom.
Speaker B:But this is going to be a trade off that I can spend the day by the pool at Pop Century or by the pool at the Polynesian and then around 7 o'clock mosey over to Magic Kingdom and do all the things that all these people were doing all day long, but in half the time or less.
Speaker A:Exactly.
Speaker A:And there's no special parade for this.
Speaker A:There's no special show for this.
Speaker A:You're basically there to ride as many rides as you can see.
Speaker A:Some character meet and greets.
Speaker A:They do offer you free popcorn, free drink soda water and ice cream of your choice.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And you, they have them stationed out at various places.
Speaker A:You just walk right up and you can take as much as you want.
Speaker B:So cool.
Speaker A:That is very.
Speaker B:That part to me is such an added value that probably doesn't cost Disney hardly anything.
Speaker A:Exactly.
Speaker B:But you know, you feel like you're getting so much when, when cokes are what, $6 and an ice cream, a Mickey bar is $8.
Speaker B:I don't know how much they are because I just try not to look at that when I'm, when I'm purchasing those for the kids.
Speaker B:But, but you know, when you get that what you think is for free, that you've obviously already paid for, then it adds so much more.
Speaker A:It does feel like you've, you've stepped in on a very exclusive part.
Speaker A:So I've given my advice on this is with.
Speaker A:Especially if you're deciding whether or not to do it.
Speaker A:There are two things and I think you and I talked about the one thing with the, with the Halloween party and the Christmas party.
Speaker A:Know your kids, if your kids aren't not going to make it till 1 o'clock in the morning, don't waste your money.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:This is probably not going to be for those families that have strollers going through the parks.
Speaker B:Unless you are for sure that your kids are going to make it until one.
Speaker B:Don't do it.
Speaker A:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker A: eep or in, in the stroller at: Speaker B:Right.
Speaker A:Because it's, it's really not, it's not like.
Speaker A:It's not like a daytime with a.
Speaker A:Your, your three year old, four year old can nap and you still get a full day of value.
Speaker A:Like when they wake up we do some more stuff.
Speaker A: s is over pretty quickly from: Speaker A:It's pretty fast.
Speaker B:That's right.
Speaker A:Now I do recommend getting like we talked about with the Halloween party and the Christmas party.
Speaker A:Get there as soon as you can to maximize.
Speaker B:Absolutely.
Speaker B:Because that's kind of like found time that you're not paying for technically that you can just enjoy the park.
Speaker A:And I remember telling my wife this when we were going in and.
Speaker A:And she said what time do you want to get there?
Speaker A:And I said well you know, it's seven.
Speaker A: ike six or so as there's only: Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Everyone was at the gate of course.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Like everyone had the same idea we did.
Speaker A: So: Speaker A:But it's certainly a lot when everybody's gathering at the front of the entrance of the park.
Speaker B:I can imagine.
Speaker A:And you walk and you're on the monorail and you pass and you go oh no.
Speaker A:Oh no.
Speaker A:That's awful.
Speaker A:There's an ocean of people right in front.
Speaker A:But it is amazing how that park with, with its acreage just can eat up those people and you don't even not wait.
Speaker A:We waited on two rides.
Speaker A:But again, waiting is the wrong real term.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker A:It's really just strolling through the queue.
Speaker B:That's right.
Speaker A:And that was on seven Dwarves, Mine Train and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Speaker A:Those are only two that we had to really kind of stroll through the line.
Speaker A:Everything else was a walk on everything else.
Speaker A:There were people waiting for people to come on.
Speaker A:Like just standing around going want to ride?
Speaker A:It's here.
Speaker B:That's crazy.
Speaker A:It's the most unique experience I've ever had at that park.
Speaker B:So if you think about it in, in your.
Speaker B:If you're going to be there and there's going to be an after hours at Magic Kingdom especially because.
Speaker B:So if we are comparing.
Speaker B:Because essentially you're getting the same thing that you would get by buying that Premiere Pass that we've talked about before.
Speaker A:Exactly.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:But if you compare the price which the Premiere Pass for Magic Kingdom can be upwards of 400 per person, which is going to be well over twice the amount of what you would pay for the after hours event.
Speaker B:And I would be willing to bet that you could get in every ride that you would get with that premier pass during these three hours for that.
Speaker B:A fraction of the cost.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:We wrote everything we wanted to ride Space Mountain, unfortunately was closed.
Speaker A:It would have eaten up even more people.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Than the feeling.
Speaker A:But I will, I will share this one experience that Lori and I had.
Speaker A:So we were walking, you know, over down towards Adventureland from Frontierlands.
Speaker A:We were taking kind of that swoop and at one point we looked around and nobody was around us.
Speaker A:And we looked around.
Speaker A:We're the only people in this area.
Speaker B:That's got to be almost like a spooky feeling.
Speaker A:It was a spooky feeling.
Speaker A:Like you were like you were in the park and you weren't supposed to be.
Speaker B:Yeah, like you were gonna get in trou.
Speaker A:Exactly.
Speaker A:Like we looked around and went, there's nobody here.
Speaker A:And then eventually people started coming and you could see some more people.
Speaker A:But for just a split second, I looked around and went, there is nobody here.
Speaker A:Because I was paying attention to that kind of stuff because I'm like, I again, just, just try to see what this experience would be like.
Speaker A:And I had a couple of people ask me, oh, when you get back, tell me if that was worth it.
Speaker B:Sure.
Speaker A:And I had to say afterwards, it was worth it.
Speaker A:But I will throw in a caveat.
Speaker A:And it's.
Speaker A:This is the second one.
Speaker A:If you are an infrequent visitor to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, any of these parks, I would not go, I would not use.
Speaker A:And the reason I say that is I don't want to feel like, I don't want to add any, like, stress value to this.
Speaker A:But this is a timed thing.
Speaker A:I mean, it's three hours.
Speaker A:It's almost like a game show.
Speaker A:How much can you do?
Speaker A:It's like supermarket sweeps at Disney.
Speaker A:If you don't know where you're going, if you don't know how to get from point A to point B, if you're not really sure where a ride is or whatnot, that's not.
Speaker A:You would think because it would be less crowded, but it's not really conducive to somebody that's just going, I don't know where the Haunted Mansion is.
Speaker A:Where is that?
Speaker B:That's a really good point because the, the parks are not well lit at.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker A:Oh, no, you're right.
Speaker B:On purpose, because they kind of want to make it look more magical.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And so if you don't know your way around the park, it's really difficult to navigate at night.
Speaker B:And like you said, on a time schedule.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:I mean, if you.
Speaker A:If you're the kind of person that can get to the park and go blindfolded to, you know, Peter Pan.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And not need, you know.
Speaker A:No need a map, you know where you're going, you can get from point A to point B.
Speaker A:It's great because if you kid off a ride and you say, you know what, I want to check this out over here.
Speaker A:And you can kind of cut through and cut through.
Speaker A:That's the best way to do this.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Now, I did not do the after hours at Epcot or Hollywood Studios, but I will say there's a concern about this for Epcot, given the grandness of that park.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:But it doesn't have as many attractions.
Speaker A:So I'm trying to weigh the two experiences.
Speaker B:So if you take.
Speaker B:And I haven't done the after hours event at Epcot, but I have done the deluxe extended evening hours at Epcot and I think that that was a really good experience.
Speaker B:However, it really only limited us to Future World or whatever it's called now.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker B:Again, yeah.
Speaker B:I refuse to call it whatever it's called now, Celebration World, all the things.
Speaker B:So it really limits you to that section of the park for the extended evening hours.
Speaker B:They do not open things in the World Showcase, with the exception of Remy's and Frozen Ever After See the Rest of the World Showcase.
Speaker B:So I don't know how it works with the after hours.
Speaker B:That would be.
Speaker A:That would be interesting to me because if.
Speaker A:If you can go, if you can shop, if you can watch the shows, if you can watch the movies, anything like that, that make the World Showcase unique, then I would.
Speaker A:I would really question whether or not three hours is enough.
Speaker B:Oh, absolutely.
Speaker A:You know, to get that value.
Speaker A:Now, again, if you're just concentrating on I want to ride Guardians and I want to ride Soarin and I want to ride Soarin twice and I want them to jump, then I think you've got some value because there's just not enough attractions.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah.
Speaker A:All of them done.
Speaker A:And extra rides.
Speaker B:Absolutely.
Speaker B:And if you have Guardians lovers, which, you know they're out there.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker B:Then they can potentially just ride Guardians the whole time.
Speaker B:Especially now that we're on a standby queue for it.
Speaker B:They can just continue to go over and over on Guardians and you're never going to get that chance during the day.
Speaker A:And again, this is.
Speaker A:Again, you and I mentioned this on other podcasts.
Speaker A:Disney rides are designed best when everybody is.
Speaker A:There's nobody cutting you with a pass or anything.
Speaker A:And none of that.
Speaker B:That's right.
Speaker A:All of that exists.
Speaker A:Like you.
Speaker A:You are just in a line with everybody else.
Speaker A:Nobody has a special pass.
Speaker B:That's right.
Speaker A:There are no lightning lanes, no nothing.
Speaker A:When it's designed to move, and you are moving constantly, that's what you're getting.
Speaker A:So even if you're in a line, you're not in a line for long because there's not enough people.
Speaker A:But two, there's nobody.
Speaker A:There's no horde of people coming with lightning lanes to cut in front of you.
Speaker A:So every ride is.
Speaker A:Is attainable fast, right?
Speaker A:Really fast.
Speaker A:So again, you can go on Guardians multiple times.
Speaker A:Rise of the resistance at Hollywood Studios multiple times.
Speaker A:You don't want to talk about a park that's navigating at night.
Speaker A:I mean, if you don't know Hollywood Studios, forget it.
Speaker A:Don't even try.
Speaker B:I agree.
Speaker B:Don't even try it.
Speaker B:Absolutely terrible.
Speaker B:Especially if you're trying to come out of Galaxy's Edge and you don't know which way you're coming out of it, or if you're going to be out by Muppets or if you're going to be out by Toy Story Land.
Speaker B:But, yeah, it's.
Speaker B:It's crazy in the dark.
Speaker A:My biggest worry with this is that, you know, Disney, when they get a good thing, they start going, okay, so this was just a Magic Kingdom idea a couple years ago.
Speaker A:Now they've expanded it.
Speaker A:But I.
Speaker A:I hate.
Speaker A:I would love to be a fly on the wall in an executive boardroom when they start going.
Speaker A:I think we should increase it to like 5,000.
Speaker A:Like, who's gonna count?
Speaker B:And you know they will.
Speaker A:They will.
Speaker A:And the moment people go, I paid 170 for this ticket.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And it was packed.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Like, they just bled it too much.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:I feel that way sometimes with the Halloween and Christmas party worry.
Speaker B:Right now with the Halloween and Christmas party, because they used to feel very empty.
Speaker A:Exactly.
Speaker A:Exactly.
Speaker B:And I think they limited those, and that's when they were more enjoyable.
Speaker A:There are times where I've gone to these parties where I'm like, this is.
Speaker B:Oh, it's more crowded than the day slam.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I mean, this is loaded with ridiculously crowded.
Speaker A:And that's.
Speaker A:That's what I worry about.
Speaker A:Because the number one reason to buy this is not for a Christmas parade or Halloween parade.
Speaker A:Or villains show it is to have ex VIP access to the park and make it feel like it is your park.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker A:And they give you that with this.
Speaker A:But the moment people start feeling like that wasn't what I experienced, word will get around and they're gonna have to lower the people.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I really.
Speaker B:I really hope that they'll understand the objective with that and keep it as maybe the Halloween and Christmas parties, they.
Speaker B:They've shifted their ob to say, okay, well, we're not really paying for lower crowds here.
Speaker B:We're paying for these other things.
Speaker B:But we're going to keep this event to.
Speaker B:You are painting for the lower crowds.
Speaker B:And I hope that they'll continue that going forward.
Speaker A:You get the three hours in the beginning, and I.
Speaker A:And I think those are valuable because, again, it feels like, you know, like, look, instead of getting three hours and getting six.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker A:But I mean, if you know that for.
Speaker A:From 10 to 1, you're going to walk on rides, make a dinner reservation, do something else.
Speaker A:Like, don't stand in the Haunted Mansion line for an hour, like at 7:30 at night.
Speaker A:10 seconds.
Speaker A:The moment the clock strikes 10.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:So that's what we did.
Speaker A:We.
Speaker A:We went to Crystal palace and said, let's just have a dinner reservation.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Do some shopping at the Emporium.
Speaker B:Watch the fireworks and all of that before.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Get all the value of.
Speaker A:Of the.
Speaker A:Of your ticket.
Speaker A:But don't feel like your clock starts with riding the attractions.
Speaker A:Because I can't stress this enough.
Speaker A:It's still.
Speaker A:Even two years later, it's still the most unique experience I've ever had.
Speaker A:And I've gone during dead times.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:I have never been where a cast member is saying, hey, you guys want to ride over here?
Speaker A:Like, I've never seen it.
Speaker A:I've never seen that.
Speaker A:And that.
Speaker A:That was fantastic.
Speaker B:I love it.
Speaker A:So that was really good.
Speaker A:But I'm glad they extended it to Hollywood Studios, and I'm glad they extended it to Epcot.
Speaker A:They are trying a little bit of Magic Kingdom.
Speaker A:Extra.
Speaker A:Extra hours.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker A:I don't know if that'll work.
Speaker A:Do you think that'll work?
Speaker B:You know, I don't know.
Speaker B:You mean an animal.
Speaker A:Animal kingdom?
Speaker A:I'm sorry.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker B:So I actually have also done the deluxe extended hours at Animal Kingdom, and so that's essentially the same thing over there.
Speaker B:And they do it every once in a while for the extended hours.
Speaker B:And so I do think that given the same amount of attractions there as really is what you're getting at Epcot I think it could work.
Speaker B:I mean, you get flight of passage, you get, you're not going to get the safari late at night, you're going to get Everest Navi r Journey.
Speaker B:But you know, past that, there's not a whole lot that you can do at night.
Speaker A:There's really not.
Speaker A:I mean, we've always, we've talked about Animal Kingdom.
Speaker A:It's, it's like a half a day apart.
Speaker A:It feels like it would be good for something like this given the amount of time.
Speaker A:But not for the amount of attractions that you're going to get.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker A:So I don't, I don't think this will work, but I'm glad they're doing it for the two parks that have some of the best attractions around.
Speaker A:When we did our in depth series on Hollywood Studios, we both said, look, pound for pound, this is the best attractions in the park.
Speaker A:And now you can get all of them multiple times with an after hours pass.
Speaker A:And again, don't confuse this with the extended hours that you get with the resort.
Speaker A:This is a very limited ticketed event that they really want to make sure to limit the crowds.
Speaker A:I mean, if, if everyone, if ever, if they're, if they're sold out on the deluxe resorts, everyone's going to go to that.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:But this one is ticket and very limited crowd.
Speaker B:And the good thing with Hollywood Studios, if you're purchasing that one, is that they're.
Speaker B:The number of attractions kind of that are, are clustered together.
Speaker B:That park is not huge.
Speaker B:So you can get a lot done in a really short amount of time in Hollywood Studios.
Speaker A:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker A:So again and I, and again I always look at the rides that are going to be operational, look at what's, what they're constructing now.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker A:If, if something is, if you're doing, if you're thinking about Epcot and test track isn't open yet, like consider trying another time when it is right.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:This is a game you can play where you can say, look, if I have freedom to choose when I'm going down and I want to do this, pick the, pick the park or pick the one that is going to give you everything you want.
Speaker A:Because if you're going down there and like man, it'll be great to ride Tron twice and Tron is shut down, then you've, then you've lost your right.
Speaker A:Main reason why you want to do it.
Speaker B:That's right.
Speaker A:So again, after hours, I highly recommend it, but I don't recommend it if your children aren't going to make it through or you're kind of new and navigating the parks and issues.
Speaker B:That's right.
Speaker A:It's not something you want.
Speaker B:I would definitely also recommend it for a day that you are not going to another park.
Speaker A:That's a good idea.
Speaker B:So try to do it in the middle of your trip.
Speaker B:If you, if you have the time to do a rest day, don't do a park day that day.
Speaker B:Just go ahead, sleep in, maybe do a character breakfast at one of the resorts, do some pool time, maybe head out to Disney Springs for a little while, rest and then head to the park.
Speaker A:Yeah, that's a great point.
Speaker A:Because when we went again, we will go down for like, her dad, my parents, my, our son.
Speaker A:Fun.
Speaker A:We ended up like hanging around, hanging around, waiting.
Speaker A:Like, when you want to go, when do you want to go?
Speaker A:When you want to go over there.
Speaker A:So, yeah, this is.
Speaker A:If you're staying and there's an opportunity to do this at one one night.
Speaker A:You're gonna, you can, you can do, like you said, have that off day, relax, pool, enjoy your time, chill out, and then hit the, hit the parks at 7:00 and enjoy it until 1:00am.
Speaker B:Sounds like a perfect day.
Speaker A:You will not experience anything like this if, if you do this.
Speaker A:I, I, I can't imagine Hollywood studios to myself.
Speaker A:I mean, I can't imagine like galaxy's edge with 200 people.
Speaker B:Amazing.
Speaker A:That is.
Speaker A:It's gonna be Slinky Dog at night.
Speaker B:It's my favorite attraction.
Speaker B:Oh, man.
Speaker B:I would just be on Slinky Dog the whole time.
Speaker A:Highly recommend it.
Speaker A:Highly recommend it.
Speaker A:You know, it's funny because my wife and I, when we went down with the kids 10, 12 years ago, my daughter was very young and I, we had gotten up really early for a breakfast and we were kind of bouncing around the parks and it was late at night and Monday Night Football was on and my team was playing and Amberly was exhausted and she wanted to go back to the hotel and sleep.
Speaker A:And my son and my wife were like, we're going to Magic Kingdom for the extended hours, which ran at that time until like 1:00.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And Amberly went back to the hotel.
Speaker A:She crashed out.
Speaker A:I watched the football game.
Speaker A:And I remember when they came in at like 1:45 or whenever it is they came in, I mean, all they talked about was, then we just ran over here, then we just ran over here.
Speaker A:And then we, and I remember the image of they had the whole park that felt they had the whole park to themselves.
Speaker A:Serious fomo, right And I, and I said that when I heard about this, I said that's what they were talking about.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:That really late night experience.
Speaker A:Let's, let's see if, let's see what this is all cracked up to be.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And get as many ice creams as you can.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:Eat all the Mickey bars that you can just to your heart's desire.
Speaker B:It sounds amazing.
Speaker A:All right, so that's our review of the after hours event.
